I recorded these feelings shortly after the invitation to this blog.
Christine and Deana began to share the daily tender mercies of the Lord with one another through email. They took the idea from Elder Eyring’s talk, Nov 2007, O Remember Remember. It is such a marvelous thing they are doing, for as we acknowledge those moments in our lives that sustain us and/or bring us joy, the blessings of the experiences are validated, appreciated and magnified. We begin to see more clearly the hand of the Lord in our daily lives; his Fatherly care and love.
Now they have invited the family to join them on a blog, so that we can share and preserve the tender mercies of the Lord in our lives. The scriptures emphasize REBEMBER. We will be able to remember and reflect on our blessings. We can appreciate the humor of our experiences and have the record of them printed into a book one day. I do not know of a more effective prescription for joy.Others in the family have wanted to share spiritual experiences of our family members. Now we can share and preserve those experiences, both great and small (if any mercy of the Lord is small). This blog is a big tender mercy of the Lord in my life. My family is one of the greatest blessings in my life. Thank you for this blog Christine & Deana. Thank you to all of you who have contributed.
